Scrapes in Birlundula

with 4 comments

These watercolours are part of my Battle of Birlundula series. Birlundula is an imagined island where bears and birds battle with each other. They have lots of scraps and try and fool one another by masquerading as one another. I have more images from Birlundula in Screenprints.

  2. Very interesting paintings!
I wish I could say I were an art critic to give my voice more value.

    Very unusual and captivating.

  3. Great artwork, especially for a kid’s room as it inspires creativity and imagination, More talent product, please!

  4. These stark images are scary, metaphoric and set off alarms for me – a tribute to their evocative power.
But, unlike Jose above, I would never put them in a childs room (I wouldn’t want to sleep with them on my own walls either – wonderful as they are!)
