Aunt Agnieska’s birthday bash – wallpaper
An experiment on wallpaper (just one sheet so far). A Great Aunt’s birthday do, she’s lying on the chez-lounge at her own party surrounded by her grandchildren and various descendents. I made this piece for a wallpaper exhibition being organised by East London Printmakers – ‘Off the Wall’ at the Dreamspace Gallery in London, 22nd March – 9th April.
Earthernware head
Illustration of a Ted Hughes poem ‘Earthenware head’ about a clay head portrait of Sylvia Plath’s head, made by a friend. Sylvia felt extremely disturbed by her clay version and after collecting it, they left it in the branches of a November tree.
