This is one of my sketches for the Printathon flyer. I was thinking of Stong, Brave, Resilient…and ended up drawing a right wally ..see the final flyer below..
Printathon
A flyer with my drawing which I made for a group printmaking show, in June (I’ve been slow motion in posting this!). The exhibition was organised by my printmaking studio East London Printmakers and it was inspired by the London Olympics. Here’s my gymnast…brandishing a screenprinting squeegie.

I created and printed this design onto linen for a group show named Training Nature in which the clay figures (in several posts below) feature. I was thinking a bit about the sometimes thin line between human and animal, both lone and social.
